to Tadeusz and Jozefa (Szandrowska) Slotwinski. In

he had worked as an engineer and held several patents for his inventions. In Michigan Mr. Slotwinski had worked for Meto-Plast Inc. until his retirement. He enjoyed music, cooking, fishing and loved designing and inventing. Surviving are his children: Zofia Iwaniak of

Vancouver

, B.C. and Zbignew Slotwinski Jr. of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren: Wojciech Iwaniak, Ewa Slotwinski and Aleksander Slotwinski; his sister Zofia Maruniak of Otsego; and his nieces Barbara and Teresa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law Adam Maruniak and his niece Lidia Maruniak. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Otsego on Saturday at

11am

with Fr. Wieslaw Lipka officiating.
