William Thomson

William S. Thomson, Jr. of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at his home. Bill was born July 8, 1958 in Allegan to William and Claudya (Doest) Thomson and was a lifelong resident of the area.

For many years he had been employed in the commercial cleaning industry. In his leisure time he enjoyed collecting John Deere and Santa Claus memorabilia, camping, traveling, fishing, mud running and playing video games.

On May 9, 1997 in Kalamazoo he was married to Mari K. (Evans) Thomson, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Crystal (Jason) Davis, William Thomson V, Desiree (Mickey) Christman, Teddy Evans, Donna Evans, and Claudya Thomson, all of Allegan; seven grandchildren and another one on the way; three brothers and 1 sister, Mark Thomson of Coloma, Julya (Jeff) Miller of Kalamazoo, Jeff (Cindy) Thomson of Coloma and Brent (Nora) Thomson of Allegan; many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday at the

Otsego Church of God

, Pastor Stephen J. Burrow officiating.
