William B. Fenner

Bill passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his home in Martin.

He was born February 1, 1938 in Plainwell the son of Bruce and Margaret (Mott) Fenner. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. For many years he had worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. Bill enjoyed antique tractors, model trains and railroads, gardening and woodworking. Bill was happiest when surrounded by his family. He married Sharon Cardiff who passed away in 2014.

Surviving are his children, Jeffrey Fenner, Marcia (Jerry) Fowler, Susan (Gary) Coburn, Michael “Meghan” (Brittany) Fenner and Scott (Pam) Fenner; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and siblings, Fran Kennicott, Kathy (Mark) Knowlton, Linda (Rick) Craner, Kim (Bryon) Sheldon and Richard (Deb) Raith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-parents; wife and siblings, Clifford Fenner, Sharon Meacham and Beverly Roman.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

Friends may visit with Bill’s family starting at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the memorial service at  11:00 A.M.

Military Honors by VFW Post #3030.

Burial of ashes will take place at 2:30 P.M. at East Martin Cemetery.

Southern Care Hospice.
