Aunt Marge was very special to all of us. She was a strong woman who kept her family safe and together during the depression.

She loved teaching, and as a little girl I remember her always explaining things. During a walk on her brothers farm she showed us green and red moss, I believe she called it “Christmas moss”‘

At Christmas we as small children could count on her hand made knitted mittens under the tree.

We will remember her fondly.

To all of Mrs. Will’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. She was my fifth grade teacher and besides being a great teacher, she was the first person to teach us about being environmentally responsible. Two of the lessons she taught still stick with me today, not leaving the water running when brushing your teeth and rinsing dishes 🙂 I’ve run into Mrs.Will several times over the years and each time I left the encounter smiling, her quick wit and sense of humor always made my day. She was a great lady and will be missed.

Darl and I both had Mrs. Will as our 5th grade teacher at the Legion Hall in Otsego back in the late 50’s, which is now where the First Congregational Church of Otsego is located. Being a two room school our teachers had to keep us excited about school and giving us a good education with limited resources, Mrs. Will did both. We remember making puppets and putting on a puppet show, learning about countries in far away places. She always had a smile and greeted us with hugs. She made sure we understood our Math problems and made coming to school an enjoyable experience. It was a sad day the last day of school and move on to 6th grade, but we still kept in contact for many years. She made an impact on our lives that we have always treasured.

Please accept our sincerest sympathies to you and your families. God be with all of you.
