Wayne E. Meade of Delton died Monday, November 27, 2006. Wayne was born August 5, 1949 in Allegan, the son of Eugene and Joyce (Brown) Meade. For over 23 years, he was employed with the Stryker Corporation. Wayne loved to attend auctions, visit the casino and sell at flea markets. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace (Weilinga) in 1994 and his father in 1986. Surviving are a son and a daughter, Jason Arthur Meade of Mackinac Island and Jeannette Marie Meade of Allegan; 3 grandchildren, Dustin, Grace and Marcus; his mother, Joyce Kolbeck of Otsego; 1 sister and 6 brothers, Michael (Chris) Meade of Allegan, Linda (Richard) Hermenitt of Delton, Harry (Kathy) Meade of Allegan, Herbert (Theresa) Meade of Allegan, Kenneth (Elizabeth) Meade of Plainwell, Larry (Helen) Meade of Shelbyville, George (Lisa) Meade of Allegan; many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego on Friday from noon until the time of service at 1:00 P.M., Pastor Raymond Joe Brown officiating. Interment will be in Hicks Cemetery, Watson Township. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
