Walter R. Enos

Ike passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Alamo Nursing Home.

He was born July 26, 1934 in Albion, Indiana, the son of Ray and Fern (Irwin) Enos. Ike served his country in the US Army’s 5

th

Air Division during the Korean War. He had owned and operated A & I Ceramics and the Slot Car Track in Alamo and had retired from the Eaton Corporation. Ike was a 32

nd

Degree Mason. He also served as a manager with Alamo Little League and had taken care of the flower gardens at Alamo Nursing Home. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting antiques and riding snowmobiles.

Surviving are his children, Terry Enos of Wyoming, MI, Kevin (Mera) Enos of Skandia, MI and Sharon Enos of Jasper, IN; grandchildren, Jason, Doug, Andy, Zachary, Ashley, Josh and Sara; 8 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Pat and Jim.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Enos; grandson, Michael Enos and siblings, Perry, Katie and Mary Lou.

Friends may visit with Ike’s family starting at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 P.M with celebrant, Bill Rose officiating.

Cremation will follow.

Burial of ashes will take place with Military Honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta at a later time.
