Virginia went to heaven early Monday morning March 6, 2017 at Vincinia Gardens. Her health declined following a fall in November.
She was born April 23, 1927 in Woodsfield Ohio to Ralph and Louise Campbell and came to Michigan with her family as a young child. She was an expert seamstress and her quilts were given in charity to many organizations. She, along with husband Al, was one of the founding members of the Kalamazoo Valley Antique Engine and Machinery Club and Rumely Products Collectors and had been an active member of the Otsego Area Historical Society. Ginny was a lifelong member of St. Margaret’s Church and especially enjoyed going to the Cooper Church. She led an active and happy life with her many friends until the time of her fall. Her final words were “I want to go home to rest.”
She was preceded in death by her husband Elwin (Al) Bronson in 2008 and her siblings, George, Ralph, Fred, James and Susan.
Left to mourn are her children, Michael (Judy) Bronson, Mary (Randy) Lober and Mark (Sherri) Bronson all of Otsego; grandchildren, Paul Bronson, Joseph (Kecia) Bronson and Sarah (Chris) Lake; great-grandchildren, Hollieh Bronson, Tyler, Travis and Alie Bronson and Lauren and Parker Lake; her brother, Francis “Pete” Campbell of Arizona; brother –in-law, Frank Rupert; sister-in-law, Mary Campbell along with many beloved nieces, nephews and godchildren.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
A private family burial will be held at St. Margaret Cemetery in the spring.
Contributions in memory of Ginny may be made to the Otsego Area Historical Society.

I met Ginny & Al through the Rumely Products Collectors. As well as many of the Bronson Family. Many fond memories of gathering around the campers talking tractors. Ginny is one of my dearest friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My deepest sympathy to the Bronson family.

I will miss Mom B so much. She was a wonderful mother-in-law to me. We were very close and friends. She always had good advice and was a wonderful listener. I enjoyed spending time with her and our talks on the phone. God’s Speed to Mom and I know she is back with Pop now.

To the friends and family of Ginny Bronson. My thoughts and prayers go out to all. I will miss her smile at the museum. She always had a kind word for everyone. She went out of her way to say hi and thank volunteers at the museum for their hard work. She was definitely one of a kind.

To all of Ginny’s family :
I’m so sorry about your loss. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ginny many times over the years when she was my customer at Hardings and the bank. Every time I interacted with her, she left me smiling. Her family meant everything to her and you know she loved you all so much. I’m sure she’s with Al now talking tractors. Prayers , Emily
