I will miss you very much father. You and mother were the greatest parents a kid good could have. Thank you for showing us kids that life is about looking for the goodness in people and having faith in God to help us through the hard times. You sure were a fun father!

Anytime spent with vern was cherished by me and my fellow coworkers. Although all of my residents are well loved, vern held a very special spot in my heart. There’s just some people that we connect and form an unbreakable bond with. I spent more time with vern than probably any other one of my residents and it’s probably due to his hilarious nature. Vern could always cheer me up with one word. Whenever I would walk in to the facility I would say hey handsome! And he would put his hands out grab mine pull me in real close kiss my hands and say something off the wall. I think that’s how he remembered me because I would always say those exact words to him. I was a constant in his life and he knew who I was. I will forever miss vern, it has not been the same at work without him. At times when it is quiet at night I can still hear him screaming for kelly and his mom. I am comfortable to know he is finally at peace and no longer hurting. But man do I miss him. The hazard family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I’m going to miss you “Mr. Grinch!” At the start, you didn’t like me or anyone around, but then you came around. I miss drinking Diet Pepsi or Diet Mountain Dew on the front porch, just breathing the air and chewing the fat. You had so many stories, as did I. All of us above me listed know you are in a great place, and that’s HOME! You made it. I know you’re making fun of or showing your comedy side that you had. You asked me once to finish the plane, but I kept telling you I have no clue about planes but that beautiful Bombardier engine. You asked me to fly it with you…….. But now you’re flying with the rest of the angels in heaven my friend. I’ll do my best to get up there where you, and the rest of my friends and family are…. heaven….. I love you Mr. Hazard
