My deepest sympathy to all of Tyler’s family & friends. I will never forget when I first met Tyler 7 years ago. He came into Waggin Tails, to buy his dog a bone & made frequent visits for more bones. He was such a nice & polite young man. If the Belcher or Burd family needs anything please let me know. Thoughts & prayers for all of you at this time.

I had the pleasure of knowing Tyler through my son Jalen Moore. Tyler was a very kind, funny, polite kid with the greatest sense of humor. We’ll miss the honks and waves as he passes our house and the occasional pop in just to say Hi! You will be greatly missed my friend ….

There are no words that can express how sorry I am for the loss of Tyler. Although I didn’t know him……I can see by all that is written that he was a wonderful young man. And I’m sure he had many traits of his Mom and Dad that made you laugh and probably exhausted you at times as well….that’s what kids do, right? May God embrace Tyler in his arms with his grace……..and heaven has gained an amazing Angel…..and he will be watching over family and friends…..close your eyes and see his smile. Prayers and hugs to you all.

Gary, Cheryl and Jerry, I worked with Tyler at Hardings and he was such a joy, we laugh and teased each other all the time. He came to the house and would help me and Jim with yard work. He was a hard worker and would do anything he could to make things easier for us old people. Such a big heart for such a young person. I loved him so much and will miss him greatly. My heart goes out to you during your time of grief, you are in my thoughts.

A State of Emergency
Your death feels like an earthquake…
Leaving devastation in it’s wake
The aftershocks are still so strong…
Tho’ your death be almost a week long
Dazed and crying among the rubble…
Surrounded by Gods protective bubble
The damage seems so very surreal…
Hidden fractures, yet to reveal
Once the shaking finally ceases…
I begin the task of finding the pieces
Pieces of me and my life before…
Will never be the same anymore
The memories are all I have left…
Since I lost you to death
I have to try and rebuild anew…
A life…without you
Debbie Harris
We are never prepared to bury our child. It is our children who must bury us. You may feel like a massive hole has been blasted from your heart. It has. There is no timetable for grief. You will grieve in your own way, and your own time.
My son Michael took his life in 2009 and it has taken me 4 years to find a “new normal”. I still cry at times; but that’s ok because that’s how we heal. I have written my grief out in poems. I couldn’t find the words until I typed them with tears running down my face. I’ve written quite a few.
My prayers are with Tylers family. I know this kind of pain personally and my heart goes out to y’all. My Grandson Kodie Blain probably knew Tyler from school. He couldn’t understand why when his Uncle Mike took his life; and now a classmate takes his life. It won’t ever make sense. I go over the last time I talked with him, and there was no clue. Michael was in a good mood and I thought his depression was lifting finally. He knew what he was going to do and he knew his pain would finally have an ending. His ended and mine began.
Here’s a {{{hug}}} from a Mother who knows this kind of pain firsthand. Debbie Harris
