area since 1978. Tim was united in marriage to Sandra Reimers of
St. Joseph
,
MI
on
July 21, 1973
. He was a graduate of
Western
Michigan
University
, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree (Aviation Technology and Management) in 1976. He was also licensed as a private pilot. He was employed as an aerospace engineer for the Bendix Corporation in
South Bend
, IN. In 1978 he suffered severe injuries in a hang-gliding accident in
South Bend
. After several months of treatment he returned to
Kalamazoo
, where he resided with his parents until his death. Tim is survived by his parents; his sister, Cindra Turek of Portage, MI; his brother, Mark (Jeri) Raycraft of Stevensville, MI; a nephew, Kenneth (Lorien) Dyke of Los Altos, CA; nieces, Laine and Lauren Raycraft of Grand Rapids, MI and Stevensville, MI, respectively, Caroline and Stephanie Turek of Portage, MI; and grand-nephews, Samuel and Maxwell Dyke, Los Altos, CA; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on

A memorial service will be at
