Terry passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
He was born February 2, 1962 in Fennville, the son of William Sr. and Ardith (Barnes) Sisson. Terry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Laraway Sons and Movers, moving houses, roofing and construction and for the last 12 years was a chemical blender at Haviland Products. Terry enjoyed making clocks, vacationing with his fiancée, riding his motorcycle; visiting the sand dunes and spending time with his grandbabies. He attended Orangeville Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are his fiancée, Della Hilts; children, Ashley Schmitt of Plainwell, Kellene (Rob) Sisson of Kalamazoo and Tyler (Crystal) Sisson of Kalamazoo; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Orangeville Pentecostal Church with Pastor Mike Risner officiating.
A celebration of life will also be held at a later date by his children.

Brah you will be missed ! I cry not for you. For I know in talking to you , that you were right with your Savior , I cry for. The hurt I feel in my own pain yes. A little selfish ! I will miss Terry he and a few other cousins used to be inseparable when we were younger I believe we looked out for each other him and his family will always be in my thoughts

I met this guy when I was in my 20s and this guy seemed bigger than life, very intimidating but after getting to know him he was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, big heart and willing to help when ever possible. And yes this guy is a legend. Prayers to the family and friends he will be missed

I met Terry back in the 1980s when he played baseball with my now ex husband , he was a big guy with a heart of gold… So sorry for everyone’s loss he was 1 in a million… RIP Terry , fly high with the angels !!!
