Susan passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
She was born November 25, 1940 in Otsego, the daughter of Rex and Beatrice (Randall) Woodward. Sue attended Kalamazoo Central and worked as a secretary and apartment manager. She was a member of the Moose International, Schoolcraft-Portage Eagles, VFW Post #3855 and Schoolcraft American Legion. She was a Collegian, Star Recorder for WOTM and past Madam President for Schoolcraft Eagles. Sue lived a life of leadership and service to others. She was an admirable person and mentor to many.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Al) Bowling and Kimberly Sue Kean; estranged children, John Thomasma Jr. and Cheryl Moeslein; special granddaughter, Kristy (Josh) Brady; granddaughter, Mandi Franco; 3 grandsons, Ken Thomasma, Bill (Laura) Moeslein and Tom (Tyler) Moeslein; 6 great-grandchildren, Miles and Kennedy Sue Brady, Rozlynn Moeslein, Olivia Moeslein, William Moeslein and Ellen Moeslein; sisters, Patti (Tom) Rolfe and Glenda (Dick) Guerrant; sister-in-law, Nancy Holmes and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Ken Kean; 3 brothers, Mike Woodward, Robin Woodward and Steve Ames and sister, Toni Augustine.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
A private family celebration of life and burial of ashes will take place at a later time.
