Susan G. Esseltine
Susan passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Bronson Hospital.
She was born August 1, 1956 in Port Huron the daughter of Albert and Beulah (Bressette) Gonzales. Susan enjoyed flowers, gardening, painting crafts, babysitting and cooking. On March 26, 1976 in Port Huron she married Kevin Esseltine who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Kathy (Bill) Ferguson of IL, Kevin Esseltine Jr. of Kalamazoo and William Esseltine of Allegan; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Sonny, Diane and Jerry and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with Susan’s family on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego with Pastor David Ives officiating.
Cremation will follow.
Contributions in memory of Susan may be made to the
American Cancer Society.

I’m loss for word’s I had no idea this is what happens when you lose contact with someone who was significant in your life we had some good times working going to lunch shopping she was truly a beautiful person inside and out another beautiful angel my heart is so broken r.i.p Sue I will always treasure the friendship I had with you xoxo my friend I will remember you forever

This is sooo sad and sudden. Sue is a sweetie, soft spoken, like her mother and sister. You will be dearly missed by alot of people.

I’m so so lost.
I’m so so heartbroken….. for you all that are my family, I’m selfish and feel so helpless.
I can’t and don’t want to process my Sue as not being here…I’m sorry I suck. I never want to see a garage sale until the next…..the same way I feel about this next Phase in life….I’m too hollowed right now.
I don’t have pretty words PLEASE forgive me.

I’am at a total loss for words. I have loss touch with everyone and I had no idea Sue was sick. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. Sue was such a kind person to me and Dan and I am honored to have been her friend and I will miss her.

Very sorry to hear of Sue’s death.
I am one of the very many cousins at the Kettle & Stony Point First Nations.
I was able to see her, and giver her a hug at the community centre when she was there. Was good to see Sonny also.
Going to miss her even thou I was not really close because of the distance where she lived. Praying for the family.
