Susan Annis
Susan Kay Annis of Otsego, Michigan passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, February 7, 2013. Susan was born November 13, 1953 in Plainwell to Jerry and Neva (Thaxton) Annis. For the last 20 years Susan had been employed by Parker Hannifin in Otsego. In her leisure time she enjoyed riding quads, playing with her dogs, listening to music, target shooting and spending time with her family and friends.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Brandy Annis of Otsego; sister, Sherry (Dan) Collins; brother, Terry Annis and by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Susan may be made to the Allegan County Humane Society.

As a coworker I always tryed to make her laugh at least once daily, just to brighten her day. We liked to kid around at work to help make the day go by faster, and I will miss her and her humor as well.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of Sue’s friends & family, especially her daughter, Brandy. Suzie was such fun loving kind of lady, and such a huge animal lover I will never forget her, she will definitely be missed by many, many people. Sue will be missed so much by everyone who knew her and her extended family at Parker. Won’t be the same without her many little jokes and seeing her smiling face. It has been a pleasure knowing Sue and I will miss her.

I worked with Sue for the last 18 years. Most recently her & Sandy were “my Saw Girls”. To me she was a Parker family member. I loved her tell-it-as-it-is attitude, her humor & how they were never going to get her guns from her. 🙂 She said she didn’t always like what I had to say but respected that at least she always knew where she stood – good or bad. There are so many fond memories I have of her. She will always have a cherished spot in my heart. Sue was the kind of person & dedicated worker that led me, as a supervisor, to seek out why she wasn’t at work. I am so sorry for your loss & so proud to have known her. God Bless.

Dear Brandy & Family: I”M so sorry for your loss. Sue loved you all so much. She was a very good friend and co-worker. We had alot of laughs together at work and also got into trouble together at work. We had alot of long talks about all of you. She was so proud of you all. She was a beatiful person and one of a kind. God must have a big important job for Sue to call her home. I hope for Sue, that it is with all the dogs in heaven. She loved to come over and raid our garden. Getting grocery sacks of green tomato’s. She loved green fried tomato’s. She will be truely missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. your mom and me had alot of fun together, I even got her to ride my horse Taz one day at my house she said she probably would be real sore the next day but we had fun, she loved coming to the horse shows and watch me and my daughter barrel race, and come to the house to visit and enjoy all my animals, I am really going to miss her.

Melissa and Brandy we’re so sorry for your loss.
I remember when Sue would come spend the weekend with my folks and it was fun having her there. And one time she went to go out into the garage and a rat ran across the garage floor and it surprised her enough she quicklly stepped back in the house. When Sue told my folks she saw a rat run across the garage my folks asked if she was sure it was a rat and she said she was sure then my folks told her it was nothing to joke about. And Sue said she wasn’t joking she really saw a rat run across the garage floor and my folks said okay they beleived her but hoped it didn’t die somplace in the garage. We all got a chuckle out of it in the end.
