Sue Ann Currie of Allegan, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior

September 25, 1957

in Plainwell to James and Sharon (VanPatten) Leonard and was a lifelong resident of the area. For over 20 years she had been employed at Tru-Heat in Allegan. She served in the Army Reserves during the time of the Gulf War. Sue’s hobbies included gardening, golf, bowling and shopping. As a child she enjoyed horses and competing in horse shows. she married David Currie, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Abby (Jeremy) Richardson of Bradley, Lisa Schwarz of Byron Center and Nichole Heckman of Allegan; three grandchildren, Kennedy, Jacqueline and Trinity; her parents, Sharon Nichols of Seeley Lake, Montana and James (Janice) Leonard of Plainwell; three brothers, Mike (Julie) Leonard of Allegan, Randy (Annette) Leonard of Kalamazoo and William (Susan) Nichols of Moses Lake, WA; two step-sisters, Deb (Dennis) Merlau of Delton, Sheri (Joe)

Fountain of Hampton, VA; a step-brother, Larry (Joyce) Zuiderveen of Otsego; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Shirley Currie; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Karen Dyer, Robert II (Tami) Currie and Roger (Juli) Currie and Diana (John ) Buchin, all of Plainwell; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Bud. Friends may meet the family from
