Dear Oetman Family,
Sheila and Steve took me into their home like I was one of their own kids. I felt so excepted and loved, they were great grandparents to my daughter Devin. The whole Oetman family made me feel loved, but Steve was my favorite Oetman. I say this with a smile because I am sure you understand. This was a man that I remember as kind, soft spoken and a genius when it came to fixing things and “Oetmanizing It”. I remember funny times I spent with him, laughing on the family porch or when he used his work socks for golf club covers. I remembered when he lost a chunk of his shin to the mound of sparklers he taped together, and the hours spent working on the dun buggies. I am so sorry for your loss and I just wanted you all to know how much of an imprint he left on me. May you be at ease and may he watch over us all. Thank you for letting me share what I loved most about your dad. Love, Kelly
