Steve was a guy that could make anyone laugh and did so very often, he was a great father, friend and will be missed. As a fellow red head, it was a pleasure to have a friend like him, as he would always say the things he was thinking and I respected him for that!!!

I remember his smile, he was always happy and enjoying life. I know he valued his family, he was a great dad. His and Stacie’s Hard work made their house a home and all their improvements to the house and yard were admired. I pray the Lord provides healing to these hurting hearts, and comfort them knowing he is in a peaceful place. With love to the family’s effected by this great loss, you are all in my thoughts.

Steve was one of those guys that would give his right arm if you needed it. I remember an instance during 2-a-days for football that him and I would match up. He would go through me like a runaway train. But turn right back, and help you right back on your feet. He was a great man and though I now live in Florida, I wish that I was still raising heck like we used to in the good ole days. Steve, wherever you may be now, we all will miss you. My familys’ heart, prayers and love goes out to his family. A great loss, but will never forget the awesome time that we had.

I worked with Steve for a short time at Gertsen. We started the same time but after 6 months I moved back to Lancaster, Pa. Steve was a great guy and we kept in touch after I moved. We used to stop together every night in Michigan City on our way back from the rail yard and shared a great many laughs together. I was trying to get him into Fedex. Then his phone stopped receiving calls. I just found this on the internet. I wept when I read this and wish all of his family my condolences. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. He will be greatly missed. Goodbye Steve…..It was great knowing you.
