Sondra dedicated a lot of her time the Allegan Co. Historical Society. We missed seeing her so much the last few years but then during 2011 fair week she spoke as if she was ready to come back and do whatever was needed. I will miss her.

When the Board of the Allegan County Historical Society voted to elect me as their President, I looked to Sondra for inspiration. She had previously let the historical society and I knew she would give me good advice. My wife Nancy and I send our sympathy to Gary and the family. Sondra was a great person and she will be missed.

Gary and family,
Sondra was such a special lady to me. I had not seen her in a while. My son Hunter was one of the lucky kids she watched on occasion when he was little. He even went to the fair with her to open and run the historical village. Son gave me my first baby shower for him and she was truly a wonderful spirit and she will be missed. XO

Dear Gary,
Although I was not a “close” friend of Sondra, I have known her since we were little children, who lived across the street from each other when I was not yet in kindergarten. On every occasion I have had occasion be in contact with her since we graduated from OHS together, she was very helpful and professional. The last time I actually saw her, and you for that matter, was when you two were the hosts of the 35th class reunion of the class of 1957, way back in 1992. That was a great time.
Gary – my wife Lucy and I do extend to you our deepest sympathy in this difficult time of great loss.
