Sheryl E. Back

Sheryl passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2024, at her home in Otsego. 

She was born August 23, 1952, in Albany, New York, the daughter of David and Veronice (Olmstead) Ott. Sheryl was an administrative assistant most recently at Bethel Baptist Church until her retirement in 2022. She enjoyed being an active member of her church and cooking. On March 20, 1970, she married Brayton Back who survives. 

Also surviving are her sons, David (Paula) Back of Shelbyville and Todd (Christina) Back of Plainwell; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carole (Fred) Twardy of New York and David (Ruth) Ott of North Carolina. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

 A memorial service will take place at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church. 

Burial of ashes will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta.
