. Sherry was born
March 24, 1945
to Allison “Glenn” and Edna V. (Weikel) Hicks and was a lifelong resident of the area. For several years she was employed as a ward clerk at
Pipp
Community
Hospital
in Plainwell. She attended the
Trowbridge
United
Methodist
Church
and was a member of the Women’s Society there. Sherry enjoyed singing, sewing, crocheting, knitting and was an excellent note writer. Surviving are her sister, Pat (Lew) Roberts of Otsego; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ron Hicks; and her sister, Dora Lee Sturgis. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at
11:00 A.M.
Thursday at the
Trowbridge
United
Methodist
Church
, Pastor Tony Shumaker officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at
Trowbridge
Methodist
Cemetery
. Contributions in Sherry’s memory may be made to the Trowbridge United Methodist Church Building Fund or Alamo Nursing Home.
