Sherman Dunn

Passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 in Allegan. Sherman was born November 7, 1941, in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert and Bertha (Stenger) Dunn. He was employed at Crown Vantage-James River in maintenance retiring in 2006. 

Sherman enjoyed deer hunting, ice fishing, puzzle books, watching westerns and especially enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions with his grandson Steve. In 1981 he married Sharon Kay Sausman who preceded him in death October 6, 2024. 

Surviving is his daughter, Connie (Randall) Tyler; sons, Richard (Laurie) Dake, Marvin (Jeannie) Dake and Sherman Jo Dunn; his grandchildren, Steve, Mike, Joshua, Jacqui, Shelby, Kelsey, Brittany, Justin, Tristin, Emma and Jaden; great grandkids, Bryson, Madison, Kinsley, Bella, Alyssa, Emmitt, Layla, Austin, Gabby, Randall Jaxon, Austin Maverick; his brothers, Lee and Jack; sisters, Bonnie, Linda and Viola; and his dog, Chucky. 

Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, Evelyn; grandson, Dustin; brother, Robert Lee; and his pets, Coco and Peanut. 

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
