Scott passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Life Care Center in Plainwell.
He was born June 30, 1963 in West Branch, the son of William and Joyce (Porter) Nickerson. Scott had worked at area horse farms, in maintenance at Allegan Metal Finishing, farmed with his family raising pigs and stripped tobacco in the south.
He enjoyed playing horseshoes and had entered and won several tournaments. Scott was a Detroit Lions and U of M fan and liked listening to country music. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
On March 30, 2001 he married Beth Julien who passed away in 2010.
Surviving are his parents; siblings, Bill (Marge) Nickerson; Terry Channells and Kevin (Cheryl) Nickerson; daughter, Keshia Hofer of Wisconsin; 2 grandchildren, Shia and Mirabell; aunt, Linda Porter; several nieces and nephews and his special pet, Little Boy.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Mallory Cemetery in Trowbridge Township with Pastor Ray Brown officiating.

Bill and Marge, Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. Prayers for comfort. I was surprised to read the obituary and see he had been married to Beth. She was a neighbor growing up.
