Sandra L. Roblyer, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, in Otsego.
She was born on January 9, 1944, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Oral and Maydel (Austin) Mann. Sandy was raised in Climax-Scotts and graduated from high school in 1961.
She was a talented seamstress known for her exceptional work for individuals and retail companies. Her skills as a seamstress were unparalleled, and she poured her heart and soul into every piece she created. In addition to sewing, Sandy found joy in quilting, pottery, and reading. Her creativity knew no bounds.
Described as a very funny, genuine, and happy person, Sandy touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence could light up any room.
She is survived by her loving children: Brian (Dawn) Roblyer of Plainwell, Julie (Tom) Moore of Kalamazoo and Cyndi (Bruce) Zimmerman of Otsego. Sandy was also a cherished grandmother to Nichole (Nick) Brehmer, Jennifer (Jason) Lawrence, Cody (Nikki) Stringham, Kris Moore, Val Moore, Jocelyn (Brice) Jenkins, Katie (Justin) Storbeck, Griffin Roblyer, Colleen (Russell) Cerda, Austin (Hailie) Roblyer, Lenora Roblyer; great-grandmother to Sloane, Hayden, Tatum and Remy Brehmer, Charlee and JJ Lawrence, Declan, Julian and Letti Stringham, Derek and Izzy Moore, Thea and Ira Jenkins, Ronin Storbeck, Wyatt and Wade Cerda and Hazel Roblyer. Also surviving are her partner of 28 years Gordon Wylie and siblings Earl (Carol) Mann and Rae Bailey both of Climax.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Douglas Roblyer and brother-in-law, Bill Bailey.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Friends may visit with Sandy's family from 1-3 P.M., Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Winkel Funeral Home in Otsego. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., at Hope Lutheran Church in Plainwell with Pastor Nicole Smith officiating.
Burial of ashes will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell at a later time.
Contributions in memory of Sandy may be made to Centrica Care Navigators (Hospice) or the Alzheimer’s Association.
