So sorry to hear about Uncle Russ. I always loved his joking around. He would say “Hey Kris, look at this” and then he would spit his teeth out at me and I would always scream! I also will always remember the Thrashers when Uncle Jr., Grandpa, Uncle Russ and Greatgramps would all jam together. Love you!

My parents, Art and Corrine Newton, hired Russell Shaff to work on our house on G Avenue over the years. My parents knew him to be trustworthy, honest, hard working, and knew that the work would be good quality. I remember him being around the house when I was very young.

He was the most amazing man in this world. Always happy and never sad. Hard working and extremely talented! He will always be in my heart because he was my #1 Fan! He had just missed the birth of his second grand child but his spirit was right there with us. We named her Caileigh Jane Rogers. I love you Grandpa and I miss you everyday! My heart is with you!
