From one broken hearted widow to another, I fully understand your pain Shirley. It is difficult to be strong when you’re feeling so broken, & trying to be and act ‘normal’ is exhausting. My heart goes out to you & your family in your loss of Russ. Be kind and gentle with yourselves as you navigate this grief journey. It is a long, rocky & painful road. ❤️

Sending my love and condolences to you Shirley. I remember you two always coming to support Kelly at our sporting events. We loved to swim at your home as kids. Grandpa Fisher sure loved his kids and Grandkids. Every time he called or visited Sandy her eyes would light up.

Dear Shirley, Brad, Shawn and Family Members,
So sorry to learn of Russell’s passing. Another heart break to endure. I have many memories in my childhood at my Grandma Honey’s (Giddings) when Grandma would host Thanksgiving and the whole family would come. It was pretty full in the basement, lots of food and gifts from Uncle Donny Fisher and Russ would be there with his family. I always will remember a lot of those good times, seems like once you grow up, time goes much faster. Hold on to your memories, they can bring you joy and comfort.
Prayers to you all

I will forever miss Russ. He always made me laugh here at William Crispe. We had some good conversations. I wish I could have known all of his interests before he passed. We owned a race horse, trotter, years ago. I never knew he was a sulky driver. He was a much loved and respected man. My prayers for those he left behind.
