Ronald Merle Page

Ronald Merle Page was born on March 20, 1927 in Allegan, Michigan to the late Floyd and Rena Page. He departed this life peacefully on November 11, 2008 at the Hernado-Pasco Hospice. He was predeceased by his wife Nina Page; daughter, Nancy Johnson; brothers, Eddie and Lloyd Page and granddaughter, Shane Vote.

Ron was a proud veteran. He served his country during World War II in the Navy as a baker. He was also honored to serve as the VFW Commander for Post 3667 in Allegan, Michigan. Ron retired from Rockwell International after 35 years of service as a machinist. He really enjoyed yard sales, casinos and westerns. A hobby of yard saling turned him into a parttime businessman, where he was free to haggle for hours. For those who know Ron best can all agree he would not let you go hungry – he loved to cook and if by chance he didn’t, you were in for a treat “The $.99 Special.” He will be missed for so many of his qualities, his unwavering love, dedication and hard work just to name a few by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Donn M. Page and (Jeannette) Trissa Kelly, daughter-in-law, Carla L. Page; son-in-law, Mike Zalsman; brother, Morris Page; sister, Nancy Brower; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and other loving relatives and special friends.
