Ronald E. Livingston

Ronald Earl “Cy” Livingston, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his home in Plainwell. 

He was born August 14, 1923, the son of Raymond and Bessie (Lonsbury) Livingston. Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, serving in England, France and Germany. For over 40 years he was a gas service tech for Consumers Power until his retirement. 

In his free time Ron loved working on and restoring old cars with his son. Ron could do almost anything. He was very handy and built several houses over the years. He also enjoyed bowling with his wife and playing cards with his family. On January 12, 1943, in Otsego, he married Ruth Graham who passed away in 2001. 

Surviving are his son, Robert Livingston of Otsego; grandchildren, Annie (David) Wise, Robert Jr. (Jenni) Livingston, Anna Lee (Kenton) Hendricks, Rena (Mark) Watson, Hailey (Chris) Weber, Casey (Eric) Roberts, Ian (Christina) Livingston, Bill (Matt Woods) Barast and Teresa (Patrick) Beals; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Jeanne Spagnoli and grandson, Steven Beilby. 

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell, with Pastor Tim Foreman officiating.
