Sandy & Family,
My sincere condolences to you on Ron’s heading home to his Lord and Savior. I’ve known Ron for 55 years or so and considered him a friend, for sure since we were tonsillectomy room mates at Borgess so many years ago. I’m sad to see him go and pray for your faith and strength to take you through this trying time. I’m sorry that I’m out of town and won’t be able to attend the visitation or the funeral service.
God Bless and keep you today and always,
Tom

I will so miss our Wednesday breakfasts, Ron’s wit, humor, his good natured social
misbehaviour and memories of our childhood. Ron was very special. He was always in a good mood and outgoing. I know his family will miss him greatly, as will I. Such a loss.

Dear Sandy and family, we are so very sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. He was a really great guy and will be missed by many. I feel so lucky that I got to spend the past few weeks catching up with him (during our rehab at Pipp). He was always cheerful and friendly to everyone there (a lot of joking and teasing went on as well) and he was especially proud when talking about his family and his dog. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Ron was treasure trove of memorabilia, and his wit was outstanding. I always eagerly looked forward to our Wednesday morning breakfasts at Pine Lake Diner. We shared so many common threads, from law enforcement to firearms. My life will also be changed because of his loss, God will surely welcome him with open arms and share many laughs with Ron. God Bless and RIP.

Ron was an amazing man. I truly enjoyed working with him as a reserve officer in Plainwell. I will always remember him as a no-nonsense kind of guy, until the job was done, then his sense of humor shined through.
All who have known Ron are lucky to have been part of his life.

Our deepest condolences to Sandy and family on the loss of Ron. We got to know Ron from church when we lived in Plainwell, and also when I worked at Plainwell PD after I retired from KDPS. The big thing I remember is that he always had a smile and good things to say about anybody. Ron was always a very pleasant guy to be around, and Judy and I liked talking to him always when we were by him.
Rest in peace Ron, we will see you again.
