Ronald F. ‘Ron, Blair of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away

. He was ready to go home to the Lord. Ron was born
January 14, 1940
in Plainwell to Forrest and Alice (Larson) Blair. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in
Germany
. For many years he was employed with James River Paper Co., retiring in 1987. Ron had been a member of the
Allegan
Bible
Church
. He enjoyed yard work and helping other people, loved his grandchildren and was a loving and caring person. On
August 3, 2002
he married Linda (Halstead) Blair, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Angie (Leonard) Blaha of Gobles, two grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Blaha; his sister, Sharolyn May (Don) Gerosa of Savannah, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; three step-children, Hannah Crans of Portage, Henry Crans and Adam Crans, both of Otsego. He was preceded in death by his parents, his previous wife, Jean Blair and his sister, Sherda Staley. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and

8 P.M.
Sunday at the
Winkel Funeral Home,
Otsego,
where services will be held at
2:00 P.M.
Monday, Rev. Richard Larson officiating. Burial will follow later at
Mountain
Home
Cemetery
, Otsego. Contributions in memory of Ron may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
