Roland “Pee Wee” Wallace passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 in Kalamazoo. Mr. Wallace was born June 20, 1936 in Valparaiso, IN the son of Earl and Irene (Gott) Wallace. He graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1954, served in the U.S. Army, was a milkman for Dutch Maid and Lockshore dairies for 15 years and owned Pee Wee’s Fishing Lures for over 20 years. Pee Wee enjoyed fishing, making jigs and working in his vegetable garden. In 1961 in Allegan, he married Helen Brown who survives. Also surviving are their children Brett (Debbie) Wallace of Otsego, Veronica (Mikell) Eckler of Plainwell, Dale (Kerri) Wallace of Goshen, IN; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Evette and Kyler; 1 great-grandson, Navene; his brothers and sisters, Melvin, Butch, Wayne, Larry, Sue, Annie and Kay; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Marvin and Kenny. Friends may meet with the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the
Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego
where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Ray Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Wings of Hope Hospice.
