Wow what can you say. Sorry for your loss. Roger was a great friend. He was always there if you needed him. I had the great pleasure of meeting Roger through his son. He turned out to be one of my most treasured friends. I have enjoyed all of the times we spent together. He ended up being more of a father figure to me and I looked up to him for a lot. Boy I have been going through my memories and just have to sit here and chuckle with tears in my eyes. Wish I could be up there to pay my respects to a great man. So many memories that I will cherish. I was so lucky to have been friends/family with the Brainards. you are all in my thoughts.

Gloria…We are all celebrating the life of a good man. Roger was a one-of-a-kind, humble, and service-oriented person. He lived his life in such a way that he looked for ways to help others…and this world is a better place because he was here. It is my hope that you can sense the love and peace and strength that can only come from God at this difficult time. You and your family are no strangers to the pain that comes from losing someone you love…but know that you are not alone and that you have friends and family praying for you.

“May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” -2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Gloria-Kim and family

so sorry you have to go through the loss of Uncle Rog. He will be missed. We lose our loved ones-but we know they are in a beautiful place. God must of thought he needed him more than us. Rog always had a smile on his face and always had something witty to say-which always put a smile on my face. When you talked with him- he always seemed like he really listened and really cared what was being said. My heart is sad in hearing of your loss. Thinking of all of you and keeping you in my prayers. God bless and keep you
