Robert W. Stanley
Bob passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home in Otsego.
He was born January 24, 1940 in Illinois, the son of Edmund and Emily (Taylor) Stanley. Bob proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a steelworker and had done custodial work at Kalamazoo Methodist Church. In his free time Bob enjoyed golfing, collecting and repairing clocks, model cars and antiques. He married Helen McKenna who passed away in 1999.
Surviving are his daughter, Melody (Garry Moore) Shafier; step-son, Bucky Burkhardt Palmer; grandchildren, Alicia, April, Amy, Jamie, Isabella and Helen; many great-grandchildren and his siblings, Nancy, Jackie and Glenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; granddaughter, Samantha and sister, Edna.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, with celebrant, Mary Ann DeVries officiating.
Burial will take place at 3:00 P.M., Michigan time at Chapel Lawn Memorial Garden in Shererville, Indiana.
