To the Wait family sorry to hear of the loss of Bob. I always enjoyed talking with Bob, Bob was always upbeat and positive. Bob was a great athletic parent, letting the coach coach the team. It was a fun time coaching when he was around.

Bob (Papa) Wait was what we all aspire to be in life, a great family man and a friend. I met Papa around 1979 and he impressed me with his wit and common sense. It was easy to see that he was man of no nonsense and few words. He always was willing to share his thoughts and had an rare ability to tell you what you needed to hear. We will all miss him and are better for having known him. Rest in peace Papa and have a bump or two in heaven !

Love always,

Ron Carol Wilson

So sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. I will always remember my Uncle Ernie telling stories about when they were young teenagers. Bob was a true parental role model for his family and all their friends.

RIP Bob
