Rob passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Borgess Pipp Hospital in Plainwell.

He was born February 19, 1969 in Detroit to Daniel and Nancy Thomas. Rob enjoyed fishing, computers and enjoyed following sports especially the Red Wings and Lions. On June 14, 2003 in Allegan he married Deborah Baker who survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Nancy Cain; children, April (Ryan) Eldridge, Zachary Thomas, Alyssa (Ryan McLeod) Thomas, Robert Thomas Jr., Jakob Rasnake, Jessica (Juan) Rasnake and Sabrina Fricks; 4 grandchildren, John, Allen, Ryan Jr. and Juan; siblings, Sheilah (Kenny) Lockwood, Dinah (David) Strunk, Danny (Lisa) Thomas, David (Jodi) Thomas and Valerie Wildbalhn; mother-in-law, Charlene Baker, sisters-in-law, Cheryl Baker and Susan (Norm) Smith along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Victoria Rasnake, father-in-law, Ben Baker and step-father, Bill Cain.

Friends may meet with Rob’s family starting at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jason Zimmer officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell.

may the good lord wrap his arm’s around the entire family. Rob was such a happy free spirited good man one that could always put a smile on your face. I will miss his visits at my aunts and his happy ways about him. Always happy always care free may you forever Rest In Peace my dear friend. Gone but never will you be forgotten
