Bob passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Vicinia Gardens in Otsego.
He was born June 22, 1921 in Orangeville Township to Guy and Margaret (Shook) Kennicott. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII under General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge and had been wounded twice. Bob had worked at Mac Sim Bar, the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department as a Lieutenant and later at Graff Trucking until his retirement in 1976.
He was a member of the Small Pilots Association and had been a member of the Otsego VFW Post #3030 since the 1940’s.On June 17, 1991 he married Frances Fenner who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Michelle Haight, Scott (Cathy) Kennicott and Patricia Fagan; grandson, Robert (Leslie) Kennicott of Oregon along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Grace in 1977; son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Linda; son-in-law, Edward; sister, Betty Grinsol and brother, Lester.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Otsego VFW Post #3030.

Franni, We are so sorry for your loss. Bob was a good guy. Interesting to be around and listen to. We haven’t seen you guys for awhile, but none the less, we are thinking of you.
