Bob passed way Friday, November 18, 2022, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
He was born March 20, 1938 in Kalamazoo, the son of John and Ruth (Jennings) McClellan. Bob loved working on his farm, being outdoors and driving his tractor. He could never pass up a good burger and had a sweet tooth especially for ice cream. Bob liked preaching the Bible and was a member of the Merson Church where he taught Sunday School. Bob married Jean Hinga and together they raised 3 children, Dennis, Scott and Marcy. He then married his wife Marty who passed away in 2020.
Surviving are his children, Dennis (Suzanne) McClellan of Mattawan, Scott McClellan of Texas, Marcy Klavins of Grand Rapids, Cal (Deb) Wikererson, Julie Downs and Tim (Kim) Fredricks; grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Alyssa, Andis, Laila, Kayla, Brett, Amy, Jared, Cody, Ben, Summer, Brady and Emma; 1 great-granddaughter and siblings, Dan (Joyce) McClellan and Doug (Billann) McClellan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Merson Church in Gobles with Pastor Alan Carson officiating.
A luncheon will follow.
Contributions in memory of Bob may be made to the Merson Church.

Jerry and family, we are so sorry for your loss of Adarae . Our hearts go out to all of you during this difficult time. We remember our great walks and talks we had together as friends and neighbors. Adarae was a very dear person.

Bob was a great Man. He had a heart as big as gold he would give you the shirt of his back, and would give you anything. My thoughts go out to everyone in his Family.
