We want the whole Cook family to know that we send our condolences at the loss of Bob. He was way to young to have this happen.

I’m very sorry to hear of Bob’s untimely passing. We attended Otsego schools together. I remember him playing guitar in one of our classes a few times. I am sending up prayers for his family. Gone too soon.

Please accept my sincere sympathies…

So sorry to hear about Bob. We graduated together, and the thing I remember most about him is his humor. He was just so funny. I know he will be missed. Prayers to all the family.

Bob and I went through high school together. He also rode “our” bus. I remember Bob as a really sweet guy. Friendly, fair and always smiling. Am so sorry for his family and am sure he will be missed a lot.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Will always remember his smile and laugh. I have great memories of eating his homemade beef jerky early in the morning ice fishing with him.

It’s always sad to hear of someone from the old neighborhood passing. I have passed this on to Ron Gauthier, who I’m sure will be contacting the family soon. I just found this out today, Sunday.

I remember coming over when we were kids and playing a lot of basketball in the Cook’s driveway.

I have very fond memories of Bob and I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you all very much! Each of your prayers are helping to bring about peace, and each memory you share makes us smile because he was such a kind and loving person…and a little ornery at times, too! In my heart, I know he is at peace…in Heaven, celebrating with friends and family that have gone before him. Much love to all, and thank you afain!

My Daddy was my best friend he means the world to me we were inseparable and he taught me everything I know! I loved his warm smile but most of all I loved when he wrapped his big warm arms around my back because I knew for a moment in that hug I was safe and secure! I sure appreciate any stories you may have of my daddy as I am having a very difficult time dealing with him not being by my side! Thank you to everyone! Love Monica

We were shaken by this news, as I’m sure many were. Uncle Bob and Aunt Dawn were a big part of my youth and adolescents always welcoming us with an open door and open hearts. I can still hear him singing “I fall to pieces”, which I teased him telling him it sounded like he was saying ‘pizza’ because he cut off that last ‘s’! He helped me learn to dive and overcome my fears of not being able to come up for air in Grandma June’s pool. He taught me how to prune and protect my roses for better blooms next year. And any late summer visit always ended with fresh produce from the garden!

We’re so sorry we didn’t know in time to say our final farewells! You are all in our prayers!

Much love,

Stacia (Pettit) Dortch
