Bob passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
He was born March 9, 1940 in Martin the son of Russell and Florence (Knight) Curry. For 42 years he had worked at Mead Paper Company until his retirement. Bob enjoyed fishing for pan fish and bass, bowling and spending time at the lake with family. He liked following the Detroit Tigers, U of M and attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events.
On June 16, 1962 in Plainwell he married Marva McFanin, his wife of 56 years who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Laurie (Terry) Hildebrand of Martin, Robert (Carie) Curry of Martin, Todd (Kelly) Curry of Otsego and Jeff Curry of Martin; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and his siblings, Jerry, Shirley, Jack and Larry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Russ.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
Friends may visit with Bob’s family starting at 5:00 P.M., Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 P.M., with Celebrant, Bill Rose officiating.
Contributions in memory of Bob may be made to the
American Heart Association.

Marva I am so sorry to here of this. Bob and I had many good times working side by side at Mead for many years. And we had many good times together when the 4 of us would get together when the kids

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Bob. I worked with him for several years at Mead and will remember him as a person of character. My thoughts and prayers will be with his family during this period of grief. God bless you Bob; RIP.
