Robert L. Cameruci

Bob passed away, Friday, May 17, 2024, at his home in Plainwell. 

He was born July 30, 1944, in Allegan, the son of Merico and Evelyn (Henderson) Cameruci. Bob was a 1962 Plainwell High School graduate and longtime resident of the area. For 38 years he worked at Plainwell Paper and then at Perrigo until his retirement in 2009. 

Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and going to garage sales with his wife. On April 11, 1964, in Otsego he married Judy Vandevort, and they spent 60 wonderful years together. 

Also surviving are his children, Brian (Lana) Cameruci and Brad Cameruci both of Plainwell; grandchildren, Jacob, Zackary, John “J.R.”, Carson and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Carter Clark, Leila Cameruci and Thea Cameruci; brother, Jerry (Paula) Cameruci; 2 nephews and his beloved dog, Ellie. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. 

Friends may meet with Bob’s family starting at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., with celebrant Nyla Merrill officiating.
