Robert Charles Lash age 65 passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo with his family by his side.
He was born August 5, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Burtis and Dorothy (Wirt) Lash. Bob served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, remote controlled planes and playing pool. Most recently, Bob loved spending time with his daughters and granddaughter. On May 7, 1994 in Kalamazoo he married Sandra A. Williams who survives.
Also surviving are his daughters, Leah Williams and Nancy Lash; granddaughter, McKenzie Lash all of Plainwell ; mother, Dorothy Foster of Lake Placid, FL; siblings, Cindy Relich and Brian Relich; his mother and father-in-law; several brothers and sisters-in –law along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Debbie Perez-Keely, brother, David Lash and his step-father, Alan Foster.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
Friends may visit with Bob’s family starting at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Otsego United Methodist Church until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 P.M. with Pastors Joe Shaler and Pastor Ron Hansen officiating.
Burial of ashes will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta in the spring.
