Robert “Bob” Garrison of Alamo Township died

, in Plainwell. Mr. Garrison was born

March 14, 1922

in

Kalamazoo

to Charles and Lulu (Leversee) Garrison and was a lifelong resident of the area. During WWII Bob served his country in the United States Army. For over 40 years he was employed with Georgia Pacific Paper Co. On

May 17, 1947

he married Edna who died in 2006. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Pickron, and a brother, Glen Garrison. Surviving are two daughters, Sheryl (John) Pickron of Otsego and Karen (Dick) Smith of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Rector of

Alamo

; six nieces and a nephew. Friends may meet the family from

4 P.M.

Sunday and again from

10

to

11 A.M.

Monday at the

Winkel Funeral Home

where services will be held at

11:00 A.M.

Monday. Burial will follow at

Alamo

Center

Cemetery

. Contributions in memory of Bob may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
