Rick was my sons good friend. They played ball together. Rick spent many nights and times at our house. He always called me mom. I sit here in disbelief that he’s gone. Loved him so much and am thankful to have seen him in Dec. at Walmart and gave him a big hug. RIP

Rick, not too much I can say other than it was my pleasure to meet you in the summer of 1999, continued to know you as we played softball on Twin City Builders, won some championships and created life long memories/stories that still to this day make me laugh out loud randomly (Sandusky trip with Ben K., Eric B, and you will always make me smile), but more importantly got to know you as a person and friend. I was honored to share your wedding day with you nearly 4 years ago. Although we never know what god has in store for us, I can honestly say that getting to know you through Ben was a blessing that will always shine on til the end of time. Rest in peace brother/5er/Friend! May your home runs be Looooonnng gone up there in Heaven!

Got to know Rick and Amy better while camping last summer. Wonderful, loving and Godly people. It is not for us to question why God decided to take Rick. We do know that Rick is in Jesus’ loving arms and celebrating. Amy, Patricia and the family, we pray it comforts you to know this. You are loved, and cared for and in the prayers of many. May peace and comfort blanket you.

Amy & Patricia
My heart felt deepest love to you both. I know he is in a better place, but I am surely going to miss the conversations about football, baseball and basketball. His smile that brought sunshine into every room he walked into and that laugh that was totally contagious . May God bless you both and know that Ricky is watching over the whole family each and every day.
Blessings, Trish

I am so so sorry Patricia (and of course, for your family). I have been thinking and praying for you since I heard the news about your dear sweet boy Rickie. I can’t imagine how you must be feeling, nothing prepares you for this kind of personal devastation.
May your precious son Rest in Peace and watch over his dear mom from his new heavenly home.

So sorry to read of the tragic loss of your Rickie
Death is an enemy to all of us. God refers to death as the ‘enemy that will soon be brought to nothing,’ [1Corinthians 15:26.] Please be encouraged by these words from the Bible, because the Bible gives us the wonderful resurrection hope. [John 5:28,29.]
Our creator, Jehovah God , promises to remove from the earth all bad things and the ‘righteous will live on the here forever’,[ Psalms 37:9,10,11,28 and 29].
” God will wipe all the tears from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”[Revelation 21:4,5.]
There is much Bible-based comfort to be found on the website jw.org.
