to Edward and Katherine (Hoverda) Tripp. For many years he was employed with Waanders Concrete as a crane operator, retiring in 1973. Richard was a member of the
Allegan
Seventh
Day
Adventist
Church
. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. On J
une 25, 1948
in G
rand Rapids
he married Nellie Belknap, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Ronald Tripp, Philip Tripp, Mary (Dave) Summers, Jonathan Tripp and Charles (Karen) Tripp; his grandchildren, Jim Tripp, Mindy (Kirtis) Carpenter and Scott Tripp; great-grandchildren, Sierra Tripp, Julie, Alec, Joel and Justin Carpenter; his brother and sister, Francis Tripp and Donna Mae Williams; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Michael, William and Carl and Sisters, Sena Riklefs, Martha Spaulding and Cora Tripp. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at
11:00 A.M.

with Pastor Don Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Richard may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
