Richard J. Werner
Richard passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Wings Home in Allegan.
He was born July 19, 1949 in Detroit the son of Florence Crittenton. Richard survived a hunting accident as a young boy because of the accident he was often delusional but had moments of clarity and was a sensitive man during those times. He had strong religious beliefs and enjoyed gardening and going to the drop in center to visit his friends. Richard had close friendships with his mental health worker, Jackie and his guardian, Lori Mills.Most recently Richard lived at Home Life Adult Foster Care where he was treated like family.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego with Celebrant, Bill Rose officiating.
Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.
