Wally and I will miss Dick so much, especially when Corky’s opens next month. I will also miss the Pineapple Upside Down Cake he would make for my birthday because he knew it was my favorite.
Dick, you fought a good fight, now rest in peace, my friend.
Our sympathy to Lee and all the rest of the family. We love you!

Dick will be missed soooooooo greatly, especially to all of us at Corky’s Drive-In. When we purchased the restaurant in 1988 we inherited Dick and Lee Brenner – “The Coffee People”, throughout all 23 seasons they have been there for us and our staff everyday.
The girls getting fresh coffee brewing with their signature cups ready when they got out of the truck/car to sit at the table and visit with friends and all. Our opening for 2011 will not be the same with out Dick there, but we will be seeing Lee there everyday to greet our customers as they always did for all those years.
We all will miss that 1/2 of our “Coffee People”.

Aunt Lee and Family,
We were saddened to read about Dick’s passing. We are in Florida, and I did hear from Sandy that he wasn’t doing well, on my birthday. He was sure a great guy, and will always be remembered.
With Sympathy, Terri and Howard
