at his home, surrounded by his family. Dick was born August 19, 1933 in Wabash, IN, the son of Rufus and Katheryne (Fisher) Hutchens. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Marines. Dick attended

Western

Michigan

University

and served 8 years with the Kalamazoo Fire Department. For 12 years he was a partner in Wolverine Rentals and Retired to farming using mules and horse-drawn equipment. Dick volunteered with the Michigan Commission for the Blind, the Red Cross and was a driver for the Hope Network. He was known to Bill W.’s group as ‘Amish Dick’ and was Otsego Township Supervisor for 4 years. Dick enjoyed helping and being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. On
