Dear Beverly,

Sorry to learn about Richard. A long road that you & your family travelled with Richard. The long goodbye. Still it is heartbreaking. Fifty five years of being married is a testament to a happy marriage. Be good to yourself now. You’ll develop a new appreciation for photos, I know I did. Take care and stay safe.

What do you say about a man like Rick Jensen? It is very difficult putting thoughts together for man that was a large part of my life growing up. Rick was a neighbor of ours, although more like an uncle or father figure to all of us in the neighborhood. He looked out for us, drove us where we needed to go, played games and was always there for us.

He and Bev were a large part of many major milestones and losses in my life. From growing up, graduating, marrying, having a family and the loss of my parents, Rick and Bev were always there for me.

As I got older and no longer lived in the neighborhood I didn’t see Rick & Bev very often, but they have always remained and have a special place in my heart.

I will miss Rick very much and mourn yet another loss of such a special person. Love to Bev, Jackie, Stacey and all Rick’s family.

RIP my friend
