Rhonda Kay McGonagle, 62, of Tampa, Florida (formerly of Otsego, Michigan) went to be with our Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 21, 2012. She passed away unexpectedly, in Tampa, Florida, due to medical complications. She put up a courageous fight to the end.
Rhonda was born November 20, 1950 in Plainwell, MI, the daughter of
Charles ‘Homer’

Rhonda loved to travel and her favorite destination was California. She also traveled to England & New York with her sister, Jackie Stineback. Rhonda always prioritized her family as number one in everything she did. She excelled at being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend, counselor, employee and most important a woman of God. She’ll be remembered for her big smile when she was around her family and friends. As much as our flesh will miss her, spiritually we know she is pain free and with Jesus.

Jackie and all of Rhonda’s family, I am so so sorry for your loss. I know that no words can help ease the pain and loss you are feeling right now. May the love of the people around you help you through your pain. It’s the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you’ll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Joyce

Dear Rhonda’s family,
Your loss is great, God only knows why some stay for awhile, while others journey is cut short. Yet, in Rhonda’s case, in just a few short years, she gave so much of herself and for sure made this earth a better place. She has left us with beautiful memories of a wonderful Godly woman….She has made us all better people through her walk, talk and her example of how wonderful life can be when we trust our Lord and Savior.

Jackie and family — So sorry to hear of your loss. I fondly will always remember all the fun times we all had in the old neighborhood playing together as kids! Also the prom when Rhonda and her date, double dated with Merl and I. I am sure you will miss her, as she was a great person. Be strong, and always remember you will be together again someday. She will always be with you, and watching over you and your family as an angel from above. My love and prayers to you and your family.

I am still in absolute shock! I can not get Rhonda out of my mind. I had just talked to her the week before her passing. We talked about our homes being decorated for Christmas and that our shopping was done. We shared many laughs and looked forward to this coming spring when we could spend more time together. We shared so many common interests. She was a dear friend and will never be forgotten. I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories to reflect upon. She has crossed to the other side, and I look forward to the day when we will meet again. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to our good friend Pat, and to all of her family, whom she loved so much. May God be with you all!

Good morning mom! 2 years have almost gone by and I can say, it still SUCKS you are not here. You have really impressed upon me how to be a man and take care of my family and I hope I am living up to that. The kids sure miss you mom. They really haven’t had an active grandma like you were. I am going to really try to enjoy my kids and the holidays this year but it is not the same. I guess I am using this platform to say I love you mom and miss you terribly. Can’t wait to see you when its my time.

3 years 7 months…. still seeking a way to say I LOVE U! The kids are growing up so fast and each year that goes by, we all miss you more than you know. There is always something missing especially after church on Sunday when we used to come see you. And the family has grown apart and is so consumed with their own lives, which is understandable. You were the glue that kept the family together. I can only imagine the place you are at and how you love pain free. Like Paul said, to love is life and to die is gain. Even though I believe in that, I am still missing you like crazy. I just wanted to say I miss you and I love you soo much mom and still think about you so much.
