Remy J. Coburn

Martin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Remy J. Coburn, who left this world on November 22, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer that lasted for eight months and four days. Born on February 9, 2012, in Kalamazoo, Remy was a ray of sunshine whose positivity brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Remy was a gifted artist with a heart full of creativity. She found joy in painting, drawing, and crocheting, expressing herself through every brushstroke and stitch. Her artistic talents were only matched by her love for music, especially Eminem. She also cherished her collection of beloved furbies and beanie babies, each holding a special memory in her heart.

Currently, Remy attended Otsego Middle School as part of the Class of 2030, where her vibrant personality left a lasting impression on her teachers and classmates alike. She brought warmth and light into the lives of those around her, always greeting each day with an infectious smile and a positivity that was truly inspiring.

Surrounded by her loving family during her final moments, Remy knew the depth of their devotion and support. She is survived by her parents, Kyle Coburn and Noble (Persinger) Coburn, and her cherished brother, Atlas. She also leaves behind many extended family members who will miss her dearly. Remy's beloved feline companions, BBQ and Phoebe, seemed to sense her spirit and provided comfort in their own special ways.

While Remy joins her great grandparents, Archie and Sue Naugle, and her puppy, Roorie, in eternal rest, her radiant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.

Remy’s legacy of love, laughter, and artistic expression will continue to inspire all who were touched by her gifts. She will be deeply missed, but her light will shine on through the memories and love shared by her family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends may visit with Remy's family from 2-5 PM, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Washington Street Elementary School in Otsego.

Remy’s family requests that those attending please dress casually.
