Oh my, where do I begin . Randy was a wonderful man with an amazing wit and fabulous laugh. He loved his family and community and was loved as much in return. Everyone spoke kindly of Randy. Our daughter Julie loved Randy and told the best stories about him always with great laughter. I know she is so happy to see him.

My condolences to Randy’s entire family. He was an important part of group of great neighbors of North Street where we were neighbors. Had lots of talks with him and was proud to have him as my friend. He always had such a great home with a perfect lawn. Rest in Peace to a great man as you deserve it! Jim & Bonnie Hoffman.

I am blessed , because I saw and visited with Randy a few weeks ago at Walmart . It was a good visit and he had a great smile on , all the time we visited. Nikki, Doug and Leslie— I am so very sorry for you loss. I know how much he loved you and you him . I loved the story he told me years ago— about Lisa having to sit in the garage, because she would not say she was sorry . I love you kids

I am so sorry to hear of Randy’s passing. Sue was always my kids’ second mom, and Randy was certainly their second dad. He was always smiling, laughing, and waving as we were also neighbors. He loved his family more than anything, and I’m sure you all loved him as well. Wishing peace for all of you…

I was so very surprised to read of Randy’s passing as I just seen him go by my house on his scooter last week. I worked with Randy at OPS and he was always a nice guy and a hard worker. Always enjoyed giving him a wave or pulling up beside him on his scooter to chat. My sincere condolences to his entire family.

My heart goes out to all of Randy’s family and friends during this time of loss. I always enjoyed talking with Randy, he had a lot of funny stories about my dad, Skip, and he also knew a lot of Otsego history. He was a genuine nice guy and a pleasure to know and call “friend”. Although he will be missed by all the folks who knew him, pleasant memories of Randy will forever be a part of their life and in their hearts. I just know that he’s up there in Heaven, mowing…….

I grew up running around Otsego High School and have so many memories of Randy – trying to scare my sister and I or just having a smart comment. In recent years we would wave at him on his porch as we ran by – and he would have some encouragement for us on our way. As I grew up, I realized what a gem he was for the school. I am sorry about your loss. He was a wonderful man.

Randy was someone who Brian’s Dad, Don Sparks, worked with and shared a lasting friendship with until Don’s death in 2020. Growing up and living around the corner from Randy meant I got to stop and chat with him a lot. He ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word and I looked forward to stopping to chat with him when out on walks. What a great guy!
His presence will sorely be missed. Our Sincere condolences for all the kids and grandkids.

He was the best brother in the world. I’m so glad he was mine. It’s going to be very hard not to have him him to call for the silliest things or knowing he was always there for me. My heart is aching but I know he is now reunited with all of our loved ones in Heaven. I love you so much Rinki Thank You for all my wonderful memories. Saying Good bye is difficult but I know we will be together again.

To Nikki, Leslie, Todd, Doug and Julie it broke my heart to hear of your Fathers passing. I have been the next door neighbor to Randy and Nicole for the last almost 3 years. Both of them have been such an inspiration to me, always have kind words and well wishes for me no matter what the day held for them. Randy was always mowing my yard and snow blowing the drive in the winter and constantly telling me what a good neighbor I have been to him and Nikki, it’s been 3 days now since he passed I weep every morning when I look out and he is not sitting on the deck or waking me up with the lawn mower I’m sure going to miss his bigger than life smile, My little granddaughters loved Randy he told them they could always ride their bikes in his new driveway and that was so special to them. I want all of you to know what a wonderful person your dad was and he will certainly be missed for a very long time. However I know his pain is gone and he is with his loved ones that awaited his arrival. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I feel like I’ve known Randy for a long time. That’s how he grew on you. He sure liked Jerkey. It won’t be the same driving by his house and him not waving and smiling. I will miss him so much. Julie I am so sorry.

I worked with Randy at the school for 10 years, never a day went by that he didn’t make me laugh usually tears in my eyes belly laugh.
He was loved by all the kids. A kinder more gentle soul I’ve never met.
